Privacy and AI questions

OzPolitics does not use AI questions to build political profiles, collect leads or personalise political persuasion.

What OzPolitics stores

The OzPolitics assistant is configured not to write question text, answers, contact details, country or device information to the shared query database. The form has no lead-capture pathway. Standard hosting and security services may still generate limited operational logs.

External processing

A question is sent to external search, language-model and hosting services so the assistant can retrieve sources and generate an answer. Their infrastructure and retention terms may apply. Do not enter a name, address, electorate, voting intention, health information or other sensitive personal information.

Political privacy

The assistant does not ask how you intend to vote, infer a political identity, rank candidates for you or target persuasion. Questions are used only to produce the immediate answer and retrieve relevant OzPolitics guides.

Your safer option

You can use every published guide, official source link, Parliament JSON feed, RSS feed and AI index without submitting a question. For election-specific action, open the responsible electoral commission directly.

Source-aware assistant

Ask OzPolitics

Before you ask

I am an independent information assistant—not a government, Parliament, electoral commission, party or candidate. I cannot tell you how to vote or provide legal, financial or medical advice. Information changes, so open the official sources in each answer. Do not enter your name, address, electorate, voting intention or other sensitive information. (Feel free to talk to me in your preferred language.)

OzPolitics AI

Ask about enrolment, voting, bills, debates or published party positions. I will look for reviewed OzPolitics material and primary sources, without recommending a party or predicting an election.

This conversation does not collect contact details or write questions to the query database.
